Airport

The Minden Airport is owned and operated by the city and located about 3 miles north of downtown. The airport identifier is MNE. The city takes great pride in providing aviation facilities capable of serving individual and corporate aviation requirements for economic development, Future plans call for a new terminal building, parallel taxiway, T-hangars, aircraft apron, corporate hangars, fuel farm and maintenance facility.

The airport has one asphalt runway in excellent condition, 0/19 which is 5004 X 75’. Approach procedures include: GPS, VOR/DME-A, and LPV/WAAS. The city also operates an FBO on the field, selling Avgas/100LL and Jet-A+. Some aircraft maintenance is available. An AWOS-3 P/T automated weather observation system provides accurate, real-time weather data, with altimeter setting.
